This is only the second time I have been nominated for an award from my peers…

and it means so much to be recognized by my fellow bloggers. This is my first “Sunshine Blogger Award.” Thank you Keith, from Keith Loves Movies, for thinking of me. I really appreciate it.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

Ha! Spare time? What is that? I’m the CEO of my home and a full-time mom to a toddler. My “spare time” is solely dedicated to watching movies, reading books and then writing about them.

What would you like to do if you had more spare time?

I would really like to write my own novel. It’s always been a dream and so far I have only three chapters of a novel that I started, wasting away on a USB drive.

If you can only watch one movie or TV show the rest of your life, what would it be and why?

I would watch High Fidelity… Forever. Firstly I have always loved John Cusack from way back to his Better Off Dead days. Secondly, it is a brilliant and successful book to film adaptation, and for whatever reason, this film has always resonated with me. The soundtrack kicks ass and so much of it I can relate to.

What is your favourite TV show right now?

I have two–iZombie and The Walking Dead. Yeah… I really like zombies lol.

What was your favourite movie of 2016?

Ummm… just kidding! That is a tough one. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story obviously,  Deadpool and Trolls. Sorry it was hard enough to narrow down to just three.

What was your least favourite movie of 2016?

That’s an easy one. Batman vs Superman. I hated it so much I didn’t even review it because frankly, I already spent too much time on it.

What is your most anticipated movie of 2017?

Resident Evil: The Final Chapter (LOVE this franchise) and The Lego Batman Movie. That’s right! I’m a huge fangirl and proud of it.

What is your least anticipated movie of 2017?

At the moment, XXX: Return of Xander Cage. We did not need another one. I would have been happier if  Vin Diesel made another Chronicles of Riddick movie.

Any movie or TV guilty pleasures?

I’m so embarrased to admit it because it’s terrible but Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments on Netflix. I know, I know don’t laugh. I loved the books so naturally I was curious. It was awful but filmed in my home town (Toronto) and it was fun to point out landmarks. Before I knew it I was addicted.

What is your Best Picture winner at this year’s Oscars?

It’s probably going to be La La Land but I’m rooting for Deadpool.

Do you still watch trailers?

Of course and they are still one of the best parts of the whole movie-going experience.
