Ok, this writeup totally cracks me up! Also, Stardew Valley looks slightly addictive.
Stardew Valley (Release Date: February 26, 2016)
Stardew Valley is an indie farming simulation role-playing video game developed solely by Eric Barone and published by Chucklefish Games. The game was released for Microsoft Windows in February 2016, with ports for OS X, Linux, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One released later that year. A port for Nintendo Switch is also in development and is expected to be released in 2017. In Stardew Valley, the player takes the role of a character that, to get away from the hustle of an office job, takes over their grandfather’s dilapidated farm in a place known as Stardew Valley. The player manages their character’s time and energy levels as they clear land, plant and tend crops, raise livestock, craft goods, mine for ores, and engage in social activities, including romances leading towards marriage, with the various residents of the small town, all while earning in-game money to expand their farm. The game is open-ended, allowing the player to take on activities as they see fit.
Hi! I’m Bonnie Reader. My favourite thing is books, I love dogs and I work for Joja Corporation.
On his deathbed, Grandpa Reader gave me an envelope to open when she shouldn’t open until the day comes when I ‘feels crushed by the burdens of modern life’.
Many years later, I was sitting in my cubical in the Joja Corporation and opened the envelope and finds the deeds to Grandpa’s farm in Stardew Valley.
Off I go to my new life! So long SUCKERS!!!
When I got off the bus I was met by Penny, who took me to my new home!
Robin is CRACKERS! A BIT overgrown? She needs her eyes checked. Mayor Lewis arrived and we have a chat and off they both go leaving me to deal with….well whatever I have gotten myself into! It is getting late so I go to bed and wake to a gift in my room. Parsnips? What am I meant to do with parsnips? Maybe if I plant them I might be able to make some money.
Ok, so Stardew Valley is a very addictive, wee point and click RPG where your character has to learn to live off the land from selling things you plant and making produce using your plants and any animal produce. You can also do quests for money and can even get married. I find it to be a combination of Harvest Moon and Terraria, it has the graphics of Terraria but the format of Harvest moon. It uses standard using WASD keys for playing on the PC, I play on Steam (feel free to add me). I do believe it is also available on Xbox and PS4.
If you like the idea of being kept up to date with the adventures of Bonnie Reader let us know in the comments below!!
I love this game. I work on a telephone all day and sometimes after work i don’t want to play Black Ops or anything because its too mentally taxing. I enjoy everything from the music to artwork! It helps me unwind when i really need it. I recently started streaming and i get the most view. Thanks for the post!!!

Stardew Valley is one of my favorite games. It is cute, relaxing and addictive. I think I have over 150 hours played, and I’m far from finished. My goal is to finish all of the story lines, all of the achievement, get rich, and to make a cool looking farm.

I play it all the time! I thought it would just be something I’d play 10 mins here and there but the first day I played it ended up being early morning before I finished. Have to say I do love it!
