It feels really good to put something fun together after fuming all night over a certain president’s latest devastating blow.
Also, if I’m being completely honest, these posters have become my latest obsession! You should see my Pinterest feed. This week I chose Fight Club, a brilliant film directed by David Fincher (Awesome director!), based on the novel of the same name by Chuck Palahnuik (good book but I liked the movie better. It happens folks).
Fight Club (1999)
Love A. It’s so simple but very effective!
Hmm, it’s looking like D might be in the lead for me.
G is gorgeous! I loved “Marla” and the poster is so very “film noir”.
This is a tough one! I’m really torn between D and G. The imagery depicted in D captures the movie perfectly, but the “Marla” poster is beautiful. It looks like art that I would keep framed in my home.
I’m calling a tie! What do you guys think?
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! Tonight I’m going to the annual “Mac n’ Cheese Fest” held in my beloved city, Toronto! Jealous? Mwah ha ha ha!
P.S. Since it is now stuck in my head, here is the soundtrack’s main song to listen to while you make your decision. Man, I love the Pixies!
All of them look fab! I can’t choose T_T

I’m going to have to go with “A” on this one. The simplicity of it is very striking.
I must admit, though, that I have neither read nor seen Fight Club. All I know is that you’re not supposed to talk about it.
I’ll have to check in on these movie poster showdowns, though–such a great idea.

It must be. It came out in ’99, right? I feel like all the best movies came out in the 90s. I know many of my favorites did.

My favorite book! My favorite movie! Though I agree with you, the movie does reign supreme.
I love these fan-made posters. I really like ‘A’ for its simplicity, and ‘D’ is pretty slick too. But I think my choice for best poster for the movie would be ‘H’ (even if the head seems a bit narrow…).
I haven’t watched this for a while now…maybe it’s time?

Ha. That’s probably from me resizing it. I was shocked this morning to realize it came out in 1999!!! Where has the time gone? Of course I’ve watched it many times over the years.

No kidding. I still remember being so naive and coming out of that theatre with my mind blown. It’s what kickstarted my interest in reading books, wanting to know more about the film’s origins. So amazing!

It really was. I think at the time myself and all my friends felt “profoundly” changed lol. We knew nothing lol.

A was my first choice too (I guess we really are into minimalism) until I saw E!!
