Book Review
I’m so thrilled to share my review of Didi’s book with you today!
I love thrillers and I don’t read them as often as I used to. This was such a nice change of pace, and it was really good!
Aggravated Momentum (Release Date: September 12, 2016)
Not everything is as it seems in what appears to be an average family. When danger lurks so close to home, skeletons emerge, and the darkest of secrets surface, causing twisted desires to become reality. Aggravated Momentum offers the perspective of some very diverse and unique characters, including fun, witty personalities to fall in love with, along with an intellectual killer to die for. You may be surprised as to whom exactly you can relate. Is it the cold, calculated murderer, who’s name is yet to be revealed? Markie or Kam, the independent sisters, guilty of nothing more than getting tangled with the wrong people at the most inopportune times? Or, the cowardly snake curled in a hidden corner? Who are you, exactly? And, more importantly, who are they? The deeper you dig into the psyche of another, the more breath taking are the secrets you will find.
My Thoughts…
Well, it’s probably in poor taste to call a book about a serial killer ‘great fun’, but it was! It’s quick, edgy and very twisty. Yes, I said twisty, as in there are many unexpected twists that made it a really fun read, and a good distraction during a rough patch in my personal life (Thanks Didi!).
Aggravated Momentum has all the goodies a thriller should have, and then some. Which in my opinion, separates the cookie-cutter types with the good ones. I highly recommend this one fellow readers, and tell your friends!
Short and sweet today!
Rating… B+

lol I know what you mean about reading a book regarding very morbid subject matter and then being like “Well, I know I probably shouldn’t say I loooved reading about this, but I totally did.” 😛

This sounds like a great read! It sounds different to your regular run-of-the-mill thriller, which can sometimes end up being carbon copies of one another. Definitely checking this out!
