It’s FRIDAY!!!!
And never have I been so happy to see it! Happy that tomorrow, Daddy will be home to help deal with the usual chaos. This week has been extra hard because my bad foot (going on six months now) seems to be worse than ever and we’ve been stuck inside all week as a result. Yes, cabin fever has set in with a vengeance. My poor girl is going mental. All I can say is thank God for Play Doh!
Some good news… I found my dress!!! First shop too, and it’s gorgeous! Nope not going to show you. Just picture the most gorgeous, magical dress that hides all manner of flaws and jiggly bits but also has the distinct 1950’s vibe I was hoping for. Oh, and we hired a travel agent to deal with the planning and booking, because dealing with the coordinator at the resort where we are having our beach wedding, has been a nightmare thus far. I’m so excited!
Hmm, what else? The Fender Blitz went off without a hitch and I got to share The Bride of Glass with you. That cover! So lovely and purple. I’ve also watched a number of quiet indie flicks this week but nothing really worth noting. Not like the loss of poor Viserion to the Night King, ugh!
Ha! I’m so happy it’s Friday and yet I can’t wait for Sunday night lol.
Anyway, I hope you all had a great week. Let’s get down to business, shall we?
This Week: Labyrinth (1986)
This week marked the 1 year anniversary of David Bowie’s passing (Sniff), so I thought it would be fitting to do this magical film.
OMG! They are all so beautiful and technically “J” isn’t for the movie but a never made sequel. I had to include it though, because it is so stunning!
I’m drawn to “A” because it is so pretty and because it is just Bowie, but I think I’m going to go with “D”. There’s just something ethereal about it.
The Winner: “D”
As always, I’d love to hear what your pick would be, and I wish you all a lovely weekend.
I’m going to leave you with this video. I can’t think of a better way to add some magic to your morning!

Ooo a beach wedding sounds amazing! When’s the big day!? How exciting! 😀
All of these posters are gorgeous, but I like A, in particular!

Aren’t they just gorgeous! A lot of them are fan art which is why the general masses don’t get to see them.

Diddo. In fact, as much as I love this movie, it hurts my heart to know they are remaking it without him. Even though he approved. There is no Labyrinth with Bowie.

I had no idea they were remaking it. That just isn’t right.

I know!!! When I went to the Queen concert this summer they did a tribute for him and I just lost it.
Thank you. I think I actually reinjured the ligaments when I was on holiday. Back to the doctors.

Aww, so sad. Freddie Mercury is another one I miss… Too many great artists are gone.
Hope your doctor’s can help. Foot pain is the worst! Hugs 💗
