Freaky Reader

I have the ability to read unbelievably fast… like really fast. I can finish your average novel in a couple of hours. It’s nice to be able to put my super power to good use lol.

I Love Halloween Too

It’s my favourite holiday, hands down! I love everything about it, the scarier the better.  I also, take pride in making my costumes as authentic as possible. Whether it a Victorian vamp straight from her crypt, or a broken china doll, I usually make my costumes and they’re always terrifying!

I’m Getting Married

Yep, after 9 years together, a new home and a baby, my partner and I are finally making it official. Yeah I know, we did it all backwards 😉 Oh and in case you’re wondering, it was the most romantic “bookish” proposal.

I’m Allergic to Everything

Though I am prone to over-exaggerations, in this case it is sadly true. I am the OG “Girl in the Bubble”. If it grows or has fur, I’m allergic to it. My symptoms range from mild to mind-boggling, the worst being allergic asthma. I’m symptomatic everyday despite every precaution, but I’ve learned to cope and my family is super supportive. This has been going on for about 10 years now. I used to be “normal” but I’ve learned to live with it and enjoy life to the best of my abilities.

I Adore Tim Burton

Yes I love his work! I have every movie he’s ever made and yes as one might imagine, Johnny Depp is one of my favourite actors.

I love Cartoons

Naturally, I love The Simpsons, Family Guy and Futurama. I also love Johnny Test and Fairly Odd Parents and anything Pixar or Dream Works.

    1. No. We were planning this elaborate party for his 40th birthday and when he was thanking everyone for coming he had Maya bring me a thank you gift. It was what I thought, a copy of Bridget Jones Diary (one of my favourite books) but when I opened the book he had cut the center out and inside was a flawless princess cut solitaire (my dream ring) he then proposed in front of everyone we knew lol 🙈
      I was planning the perfect birthday party and he was secretly planning put engagement party 😊

      1. I’m glad she’s feeling better. I hate she’s having to go through all of this. I’m glad she’s too young to worry herself about it. At least she was able to have a good summer. If she was older she would probably be having anxiety over it. I can only imagine your stress levels right now. What a nightmare. 😩 I’m sure everything will be fine. Just keep hanging in there. 😊 At least her surgery won’t affect Halloween for her. 👻

      2. Exactly, which she would have missed otherwise. She’s really excited to be Poppy from Trolls. Yes that is the silver lining but man are we on high alert. It’s very stressful which we keep from her as best as we can

      6. High fever and stomach pain and yes it’s terrifying 😣 we take her temperature once a day and if she’s feeling a bit warm. We’re trying not to make it a big deal so she won’t become a hypochondriac or something 🙄

  7. Congratulations! Thank you for sharing a few facts about yourself. Halloween is a fun time of year, my friends and I are already planning our costumes lol. I agree with the Tim Burton movies and the love for Johnny Depp! Congratulations on getting married as well!
