“Carlo Indrezzano: YOU saved me?
Wonder Woman: Yes
Carlo Indrezzan: Impossible. You’re a woman!
Wonder Woman: I’ve heard that once or twice before.”
Hey kiddies!
Anyone who knows me, knows that I am a DC girl and that I love Wonder Woman! So, since the release of Justice League is fast approaching, I thought I would feature posters of my favourite member of the league. Yes, I could have used Justice League posters but there aren’t that many to choose from and frankly, I don’t think it will be anywhere near as good as the Wonder Woman movie. I hope I’m wrong but Ben Affleck as Batman? Terrible. Batman vs Superman? Horrible beyond words.
Sorry Ben but you gotta stick with your strengths! Argo was fabulous! Just my opinion.
Anyhoo, I’m sorry I didn’t post this last week. Had some personal stuff going on and unfortunately, didn’t have time.
The last couple of weeks have been pretty busy. Halloween was awesome! My daughter looked adorable as Princess Poppy and there is still so much chocolate in the house, I’d like to eat it all in one sitting just so it’s gone.
I have read some AMAZING books in the last 2 weeks, my favourite being The Things We Learn When We’re Dead by Charlie Laidlaw (Read Review). You must check this one out guys. It’s fantastic! We also had a fabulous guest last week, Natasha Lane. If you haven’t read it yet, read it here. It’s about the whole “Damsel in Distess” trope and if it has a place in modern writing. It most certainly doesnt! (Again, just my humble opinion)
There were loads of awesome blog stuff in the last 2 weeks. Book and movie reviews, cover reveals (like the one today), and exciting R&R Book Tours stuff. (Psst, to my author friends, I’m having a “Holiday Promo”) It’s been great! New followers too (Thank you) and we’re about to roll over the 1000 follower mark (YAY!!!) so stay tuned for a fab giveaway.
It sure has been a productive couple of weeks, but without further ado, let me show you the posters I’ve picked for this week’s showdown.
This Week: Wonder Woman (2017)
Damn, Gal Gadot is one stunning woman! I had my reservations when she was cast as my favourite icon and hero. I thought they needed someone bigger, stronger, more Amazonian, but she really surprised me. Now I can’t imagine anyone better. (Linda Carter excluded)
Hmm, this is really tough! I really like “O” but…
The Winner: “C”
I loved this poster when it was released and I do believe it remains my favourite.
What do you guys think?
Have a wonderful weekend friends!
Aw, you and your daughter look so cute in the Halloween photo! 😀 And you even managed to make her costume all warm and cozy while not covering it all up. Well done. Having grown up in Michigan I know that it can be difficult to stay warm and not wind up covering up your entire costume for Halloween. 😛
Love the WW posters! C, F, and J are my top picks! 🙂

Aww thanks! Yeah if I have to cover the costume then what’s the point. I always try to have her costume over layers 😊

Image F is amazing. The colors in the background and on her costume look really cool together. Plus her hair being blown backwards and her sword look so epic. I like yours and and your daughters costumes too! I’m glad your blog is having success.

Thanks Jer! I agree it’s a good one. I wasn’t really dressed up so cobbled up what I called a hipster clown. My daughter didn’t want to dress up alone lol. But thank you 😊

You’re such a cool parent who can create a costume just like that! Great job.

Aww thanks! It was either that or Thing 1 from Cat in the Hat lol. Halloween is a bit deal to me 😁

Those are awesome choices. Halloween is a big deal to me too. I’m sad it came and went so quickly. Glad you all had fun!

Me too. Normally we go to a big over the top costume party but the hosts decided to go the Bahamas instead. So we decorated the house and did a lot of pumpkins.

Costume parties are so fun. I went as a, “Bigfoot Researcher,” which was basically a red neck with a mullet. I was pretty gross looking. Sounds like you had a great time!
