I adore Sophie Kinsella! She’s one of the first modern English authors who really made me appreciate contemporary British Contemporary Fiction!

So, I thought I’d throw it back and share one of my favourite titles with you all today. “Can You Keep a Secret” came out a few years after the ENORMOUSLY successful, “Confessions of a Shopaholic“(One of my favourite contemporary books EVER) and it was just as funny, clever and original. If you haven’t read it, visit your local library and see if you can snag a copy. It’s the perfect thing to cheer you up during the bleak months of winter.

Secrets she wouldn’t share with anyone in the world: I have no idea what NATO stands for. Or even what it is. Until she spills them all to a handsome stranger on a plane. At least, she thought he was a stranger.…Until Emma comes face-to-face with Jack Harper, the company’s elusive CEO, a man who knows every single humiliating detail about her…

I’ve actually read this one! It is completely out my genre’s. But I was at my sister’s so I pinched it to read.
I still remember it and really really enjoyed it 👌

    1. Isn’t it funny? Yes I tend to lean towards the darker stuff too but every now and again, I like to pick up a book like this and have a good laugh. Sophie Kinsella’s older stuff is all really great!
