Happy Friday!

Wow it’s been a while since I’ve done one of these. Sorry about that but you know how it is. Life had other plans for me I guess. Busy with the holidays etc… Now that I’m back to a routine of sorts, I thought it was time for another chat and a showdown.

Hmm, what’s been happening with me… well, I bought a house and listed mine for sale and that turned into a huge nightmare. Turns out the house that we bought (conditionally) needed a lot more work than we originally thought (70 K worth of work) and the seller was very difficult (delusional) and just would not work with us at all. It was all very stressful and frustrating and we felt like these red flags meant that this house wasn’t THE house, so we decided not to buy it after all.

Meanwhile, as we thought we had purchased a house, it was a mad dash to get ours ready and sold ASAP.  Did I mention this was during the week before Christmas? Suffice it to say, it was the worst timing ever, and we had people traipsing around our place the entire holiday season.

We’ve since decided to take our place off the market for a few months to concentrate on our wedding ( and collect the hair that I yanked out of my head off the floor) and will commence house hunting again in the spring. Despite the fact that half of our belongings are in storage, things have calmed now and we are enjoying the break.

The one great thing that happened during this time however, was that our daughter was healing and has made a full recovery from her surgery! She is as sassy and as full of beans as ever!

I hope you all had a much better break than we did and have made a good start of 2018.

I chose my movie today completely at random from my Pinterest board of movie posters. Almost in an “eeny, meeny” kind of way. That said, I do love this movie and have always considered Michael Keaton the best movie Batman. Plus as you may know, I love Tim Burton.

Without further ado, let’s get to the posters. There are a bunch of really fantastic fan designed posters in this group!

Batman (1989)

This is a hard one, but I think I’m going more simplistic this time around

Winner: “G”

There’s just something about it. I love the quote from Joker and I really love the font. It’s very Burton-esque!

What do you guys think?

Have a wonderful weekend!

  1. Anything with Batman makes me super happy, so thanks for sharing this with us!!! 😀 Absolutely love G too. I’d read a book that has that cover too. It’s soooo mesmerizing. E is probably the one I’d automatically associate to this classic movie though hahah

And wow.. That definitely sounds like some of the most hectic days! 70k of reparations?!!? That’s insane. I hope things have calmed down lately!

  2. ” That said, I do love this movie and have always considered Michael Keaton the best movie Batman ” – I’m sorry, but I have to strongly and furiously disagree on this. Yes, I like Tim Burton too, but this Batman, like all the Batman movies before and after the Bale-trilogy, has been a disgrace for the story. Best Batman ever was the Dark Knight, hands down (and up)!

  3. I love this movie so much! I’m really impressed with “F.” I agree with you though that “G” has Tim Burton all over it. Great post and awesome posters. I’d love to have them all.
