Kate soon finds herself falling for the charms of Jonathon Jacobs in what she believes to be fate finally intervening and offering her a second chance, unaware that each move he makes has been directed, orchestrated and well-rehearsed as he begs her to leave her husband Alan.

But is it all too late, as she finds herself in the frame for murder.

A solid thriller with a great twist ending!

Just as ‘Kate’ is ready to throw in the towel, a miracle happens in the form of a generous inheritance. Now armed with new hope and a way to escape the vicious cycle of abuse at the hands of her monstrous husband, Kate is ready to start a new life with her daughter. Unfortunately, there are other plans being made for her. Ones that will ruin her life forever!

I enjoyed this book! It hooks you from the beginning and takes you on a thrilling ride. One that will end in an unexpected way. The writing is good and the characters are very colourful. It was a tad cookie-cutter however, and therefore predictable at times, but I recommend it none-the-less. If anything just for that wonderful twisty ending.

This is an enjoyable book, and if you enjoy a good mystery, this will be a great fast, and satisfying read.
