As someone who uses social media daily, and is actively trying to grow my accounts because my job demands it, this book made my skin itch! No, I do not post every moment of my life online, but even if you have a moderate presence, you are inviting people to peek into your carefully curated life. Follow Me will make you rethink everything!
Hey guys! Well, school is back in session and that pretty much means we're back to our regularly scheduled programming. To kick off the school year, we have a new review from Theresa! This book is called One by One by D.W. Gillespie.
This was one of those books that makes you resent doing anything that requires you to put it down for even a few minutes. Work, dinner, speaking... you know, basically real life stuff. I was completely enthralled with this story!
An extraordinary book that spans generations, explores momentous times in American history, and gives readers a in-depth look into complex family relationships.
It hurts my heart to give a book a negative review, which is why I am so choosy when it comes to accepting or requesting books to read. When The Need presented itself, I was thrilled. The book is gorgeous and the blurb on the back practically screams "READ ME!", so imagine my disappointment when I started reading it, to find out that not only is it painfully slow, it also doesn't make much sense!
