I'm going back to a throwback feature here, comparing what is a fantastic book to it's sub-par adaptation (still so disappointed). What makes it hurt even more is that we could have had a whole franchise of Shadowhunter movies had it not bombed so spectacularly!
One of my favourite genres of fiction is Dystopian, especially YA Dystopian, and this duology ticked all the boxes for me!
How do I miss out on these things? Seriously, I need to come up with a system or something. Regardless, at least I won't have to wait on the last 2 books in the trilogy.
